Monster Truck Pictures

Mommy's friend sent these pictures from our Monster Truck night. Mommy is shocked that she had more fun than me and daddy put together...

The really cool green truck is my favorite...the Grave Digger!   He lives in NC right down the street.  He's the biggest and the fastest!

This is the Iron Warrior...He was the first truck out and when he was trying to do a wheely, he flipped over! That was great!!

Mommy says to please ignore the funky font stuff going on...she has no idea how to fix it.

What a weekend!

Guess what I did today?  I got to feed both elephants and giraffes AND I had an elephant make a painting for me!  Our friend Jody is the elephant trainer at the zoo and he set up this special event just for me!  We even got to walk to the elephant yard and see them up close.  Elephants make a really loud burping sound when they eat carrots!

I had a really great weekend.  On Friday night, mommy and daddy took me to see Monster Trucks and I had a blast!  Mommy forgot her camera but a friend from her work happened to be sitting right in front of us and took some pictures.  As soon as he sends them to mommy, she'll post them here.

Last night we went to a friend's house for dinner and SURPRISE...they threw us a party!  Everyone was there and it was a lot of fun (as you can tell by my picture here).

Fun with mommy and daddy

What a great weekend!  Saturday I went to the beach with mommy and daddy.  I learned to surf on the Sand Dunes which I later found out was illegal...whatever that means.  I think it's important though because mommy looked nervous.  We went shopping and we also got to see some Monster Trucks up close...Grave Digger anyone?

Sunday we went to Target, the Bass Pro Shop (my personal favorite), and then the Air and Space museum.  I LOVE airplanes and spaceships.  I want to be an astronaut when I grow up (and a pilot, deep sea diver, fireman, and garbage man...mommy says I'll be really busy).

I saved someone in our pantry tonight after I got back from my trip to outerspace.  I used my headphones that power up my spaceship to rescue them from the pantry.  I also called the fire department in for reinforcement.  Mommy says she never has to worry about her safety when I'm around.  (I know this might be hard to follow but I have an enormous imagination that is extremely hard to capture in print...especially with my limited vocabulary...sorry)

I hope everyone enjoys the pictures and has a very happy week!

Happy Halloween!

Hi everyone. I had a fantastic Halloween this year! I really understand what it's all about now. It started with a party and costume parade at my school. Mommy came to see me and then I got to go home with her! Then I played all afternoon with mommy and daddy until time to go trick or treating.

(My best friend, Jake S., is in the tiger costume)

Picking out a costume this year was really hard. First I wanted to be a deep sea diver like daddy. Then, I got so into elephants that I wanted to be a great big strong elephant. Then, mommy found a bat costume on sale and since I love bats (i have a bat house that I made with daddy), I thought that would be great. At the last minute I changed my mind and wanted to be a deep sea diver again. So...I was a bat at school and then I was a deep sea diver for trick or treating.

We went back to our old neighborhood and went door to door. It was fantastic! Then we went to a party and went on a hay ride! Mommy and daddy even roasted me some marshmallows. We finally ended up at my friend Arlie's house. We took a bath and got in our jammies and the next thing I remember is waking up this morning and climbing in bed with mommy and daddy!

Mommy took me to the zoo today and we rode on a choo choo train!  We've been waiting all summer for the train to open.  I was so excited...and it didn't dissapoint.  The drivers were a little big for the train though.  I wish mommy could have taken a picture of them.

Hi everyone. Time to catch you up what has been happening. If you haven't heard already, we're moving to CA!! Yes, instead of retiring this year, daddy decided to re-inlist and we're heading to San Diego. Good news...mommy keeps her job, Gigi and Papa are only 2 hours away, and the weather is fantastic. Bad news...we have to leave our wonderful house. Mommy seems the most torn about it. We sold the house so quickly that we had to move into a condo by the beach. Mommy said the beach was a necessity to help keep her mind off of the fabulous kitchen, back yard and neighbors she had to leave behind

Last weekend mommy and daddy took me on a long ride to Annapolis to look at boats. Not just any old boat...Sailing catamarans. Those are the kind with 2 hulls....I'm getting very smart about boats...ask me anything. After we spent a few days looking at boats, they took me to a huge zoo in Washington DC to see the elephants. It's been so long since we've blogged I don't think you all know how much I LOVE elephants. They eat bamboo trees, hay, and peanuts. The boy elephants have tusks. I like to play elephants with mommy and daddy. Mommy is the nice pink elephant, daddy is the mean black elephant with red eyes, and I am the big strong elephant with huge tusks.

I'm really growing up and becoming a big boy. I have wonderful manners most of the time and I am discovering that I really like to talk! I'm playing with words now....I've discovered you can shorten Thank You into one word...Thanks. I also noticed that Mommy will also answer to Ma Ma (but she doesn't respond too quickly when I call her daddy.

Until next time....

Yeah! Mommy got a new computer

Finally!  Mommy and daddy got a new computer so the blog is back!  This is just a quick post (mommy thinks I'm sleeping and is trying to finish before I wake up) to let everyone know they can start looking again.  Mommy got side tracked for a while on something called Facebook?  Anyway, since she's not very good at photo albums, I told her she needed to get back to my blog and quit goofing off on this networking thing, whatever that is.

So here's a few pics...mama (that's what I'm calling her now...testing the reaction) will get back real soon and fill you in on everything going on.

Mommy's having some formatting issues so sorry about the random display of pictures.  These are a mix of things from me making my own pb&j to sitting in a John Deer at the air show to picking my own pumpkin after a really cool hay ride.

Have a good week!  Enjoy!

New updates!

55

Well, here's one picture mommy managed to get up here....it's obviously a proof...we're still having trouble uploading pictures from our pc.

I'm doing really good...talking a mile a minute and I now officially have my own opinion on just about everything! I'm fully potty trained during the day and go occasionally all night with a clean pull up!

The biggest news around here is that we are officially moving to San Diego at the end of the year. Daddy decided to stay in the Navy 3 more years. Mommy says it's a great thing...she gets to keep her job (darn, I was hoping I could skip school for a few years) and we'll only be 2 hours away from my Gigi and Papa...which makes mommy really happy.

So...lots going on at our house. Mommy says we'll have a sign in front of our house within the next two weeks telling people we want to sell it. I don't quite understand everything yet, but I'm sure mommy will explain it all to me as we go along.

Other big news, not so good news for me, is that daddy is going to be gone all summer...3 whole months. He's going on a very important mission (mommy is rolling her eyes now, I'm not sure why) to the Carribbean. They start in Antigua and end somewhere around Barbados. Mommy says we're going to try to go see him...I have to get a passport first, whatever that is! Mommy and my teachers think I'm having a hard time with this...not sure why...what's wrong with pitching fits every once in a while? Mommy has gotten spoiled. I'm learning from my classmates how a 2 year old is supposed to act! Although...stomping my feet and screaming doesn't seem to be working with MY mommy and daddy. I'll have to ask my friends what their secret is. Maybe I'm doing it the wrong way.

On a good note, mommy says when I'm not acting like a monster, I'm a very polite and pleasant little boy. I even say please and thank you all by myself. I'm learning how to say "excuse me mommy" when I want her attention while she's talking. I've mastered cutting the grass with daddy and vaccuuming with mommy. Overall, I'm making myself a very useful little boy :)

That's about it. Mommy is going to buy a new computer this summer so she can get back to the blogging thing...her computer is totally hosed (her words, not mine)!

More Christmas pictures...

Mommy finally loaded the pictures from daddy's camera from Christmas....enjoy!

Grandma and Papa sent me my very own Pea Coat! Don't I look nice?

Aunt Shannon and Uncle Colby gave me a very cool Pirate Ship! It even has a cannon and a life raft!
Boxes and boxes...
Might Mac!
Harold the Helicopter!
Carter and Caitie sent me more little people toys...here's the helicopter!

Daddy took lots more pictures but mommy is in most of them and she says she's not fit to star in my blog. Sorry!
Have a good week!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hi everyone. Mommy sends her apologies for not updating the blog lately. She could say she's been busy, but she's really just been lazy (don't tell her I said that!).
With all of that said, there are tons of pictures here so maybe it will make up for the lag in between posts.
I LOVE to build choo choo's and airplanes and helicopters out of my legos. Here are some pictures of me building one of my giant choo choos.

Here I am helping mommy bake. Mommy says I'm a great helper but she sure wished that I could read! Then I could remind her of all of the ingredients we were forgetting in our cookies (flour, anyone?)
This is probably one of the highlights of my holiday. Daddy went hunting with one of his friends and they got themselves a few deer. So we went over to Mr. Mark's house for daddy to help grind the deer into sausage. Well guess what? Mr. Mark has a real train that goes around his Chirstmas tree and he let me play with it!!! It even had smoke and made choo choo noises! Between playing with the choo choo and helping grind sausage, I had one of the best days ever.

My school had a Christmas Program one Sunday where I got to sing Jingle Bells with all of my classmates. Mommy says it was a zoo but I did really good. I learned all sorts of Christmas Carols this year. Jingle Bells is my favorite, but I really like to sing Deck the Halls too.

We went to a Christmas part at my friends Dylan and Jett's house and Santa Claus came! Mommy doesn't have any pictures here but will try to get her friend to email them to her. I wasn't scared at all! Santa gave me firetrucks and I gave him my pacifier! Mommy and daddy said it would be nice to give it to Santa so he could give it to a baby who really needs it. It seemed like a good idea at the time... I've since taken to sucking on blankets. How do you older people get to sleep at night?
Finally, Santa came to my house while I was sleeping! You wouldn't believe the things he brought me. My favorite was Harold the Helicopter. I played with it all morning and I even took it to school today for my show and tell. I got lots of other nice things too. Santa gave me a bicycle (which I'm still learning how to ride) and my aunts and uncles and cousins gave me lots of cool toys with lots of parts (mommy says Thank you)! In this picture you can see the head lamp my Gigi and Papa gave me. It's really cool. I can walk around and shine a light on everything!

After Christmas, New Year's came! Mommy and daddy were having friends over so I had to help them cook and clean (they still haven't relaxed on the whole chore thing and earning your keep!).

Mommy stayed home with me all week and daddy was home a few days too. Mommy and I did lots of art projects. Here's my playdough choo choo train (I'm not upset here, this is my "funny" face).

All good things must come to an end so I had to go back to school yesterday. To be honest, mommy and daddy are fun, but I kind of like my schedule at school and getting to play with other people my size. Don't tell mommy...I don't want to hurt her feelings.
