Fun in the sun

Hi everyone! I went to my 9 month Dr. appointment friday and I weighed a whopping 21 lbs and 10 oz! The Dr. says I'm slightly above average on all of my measurements and I'm doing really good. I'm not real thrilled with him though. He told mommy that I was being a stinker. He told her that I shouldn't be waking up at all before day light and I was just waking up out of habit (I think mommy and daddy were catching on anyway). So he told them I shouldn't get a bottle before 6:00 in the morning! What was he thinking? How does he think I got to be this big and healthy! Anyway, so I'm in baby bootcamp and they won't let me out of my crib until at least 6:00 now. I'm not quite ready to concede but they're wearing me down.

Mommy and daddy took me back to the pool yesterday for Mr. Eric's going away party and Miss Carrie's graduation party. Mr. Eric is going to Iraq for 6 months (Mommy said to ask everyone to say a prayer for him to come back safe) and Miss Carrie just graduated with her Accounting Degree (Mommy says to say a prayer for her too...she'll be alone with 2 kids and a full time job...mommy says she needs all the prayers she can get). It was a real fun party. I got to go swimming and lay in the canoe float. I'm a real good swimmer. I duck my face in the water and kick my legs really fast. Daddy was swimming with me at first and then I told him I would like some alone time with my bottle so I could just relax. Mommy took a few pictures.

Who do I look like?

Mommy thought it would be fun to put baby pictures of her and daddy out here and let people try to figure out who I look like. Mommy says I'm a good mix of both of them!

Here's also a picture of me in the big boy bath tub! Daddy lets me swim in it and my most favorite thing to do is stick my hand in the water as it's filling up the tub and let it splash me in the face!
