It's about time...for summer, I mean.

I hope the title didn't imply mommy has been slack on adding pictures...she couldn't find her cord for her camera so it's not her fault (at least that's what she says). But once again, there's a ton of pictures to show! Grab yourself a soda and a couple of slices of pizza, 'cause this is going to take you a while. (Mommy says that all of those people that think she should be updating the blog several times a week (Gigi and Mrs Tamara, I think she's talking about you) should divide this up into a few pictures a week and that should last you a while.)

Mommy said the first order of business is giving everyone an update on the kitchen (even though it's MY blog). So here is a picture of it after they completely gutted the place! Here's another picture with the countertops and cabinets installed. It should be only another 2 weeks and it will be done!

Ok, now back to important stuff...like me!
I LOVE to play with balls...I often accidentally throw my ball towards the river and daddy makes me go get it. It's ok though, this part is not too sqooshy so mommy says I won't get stuck.

Sometimes, I like to just lounge around with daddy in my pajamas.

Other times, I like to help mommy and daddy in the yard.

My grammie sent me a bunch of new clothes and a really cool rocking chair. Here's a picture of me with my toolbox in one of my new outfits.

Here's a picture of me lounging in my rocking chair eating blackberries. Mommy interupted my Elmo time to take this picture!

Lately, daddy and I have been having a lot of fun in the backyard. I LOVE to ride on his shoulders. I feel really tall and can make daddy act goofy.

One of my new favorite things to do is drive daddy's truck. Here I am adjusting the rearview mirror. This is actually one of those things that I would do every day if mommy and daddy would let me. I go to the driver side every time hoping they'll let me drive for real just once. Sometimes I get REALLY mad! Mommy says if anyone out there is thinking about letting their toddlers pretend drive, it might not be a game you want to start playing (she said to re-read the part about getting really mad and you would understand)!

Sometimes I just have to settle for my little pretend car. It really is more my size.

Daddy said when we buy our sailboat and sail around the world, that we're going to sail up the Amazon river and see the jungle. I thought I should start practicing my navigational skills in the wild! Lucky for me, we have a jungle just my size in the back yard.

As you can probably see by my very big boy stature, I still like to eat! Daddy taught me to eat grapes straight from the stem...watch this.

We had a fabulous, action packed Memorial Day weekend. On Saturday we took out our boat for the first time this year and daddy even let me drive!

We went to the same place we went last year, called The Cove (Mommy says the water still looks dirty, but don't worry, it's brackish water...whatever that means). I learned how to hold my breath on this day!

On Sunday (daddy's birthday), we went to a party at Mr. Eric and Mrs. Carrie's house. They have a pool and lots of people came.

Yesterday, mommy and I got up and went for a jog. Here's me afterwards...rehydrating after a good run is always important!

We finished the day with a family barbque, a popsicle and good old fashion fun in the waterhose!

All of that fun required a little relaxation in front of the TV watching Madegascar and snuggling with mommy.

I hope you enjoyed this entry...I tried to focus more on the fun aspects of the past month than my intellectual progress (which is quite large) :) More on that next time...
