Daddy is out of town for a couple of weeks so mommy and I thought it would be fun to spend a weekend with Gigi and Papa. Papa wasn't feeling very good (Mommy said the doctors had to "reboot" him) so we decided to go up a few days early to take his and Gigi's mind off of things. I think it worked! We spent a day at a place called Long Beach. Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself.
We took a tour on a boat into the Harbor and got to see some sea lions being lazy on an old barge.
There was a submarine that Papa let me ride. He put quarters in three times for me! I saw all kinds of deep sea creatures when my submarine dove to the depths. Angler fish, lantern fish, firefly squids....

Some guy had two iguanas that he was letting people pet. You would think that it would feel rough, but it was really kind of soft. Very cool.

All of that walking left my dogs tired. I had to sit down and rest often.
So enough about my fun...mommy says I should tell everyone what I'm doing these days (since this blog is about me and my progress). I still love space, deep sea divers and underwater creatures. I'm particularly fascinated with Deep Sea creatures. I like to watch shows on TV with daddy to learn more. I also like to play video games on the computer when I'm really good and mommy is in a good mood. I love puzzles. My favorite is my space puzzle, but I got two new ones for Christmas that I really like too. They're good because if you take them out of the box and put them in a big plastic bag, they can fit on the boat. I can count to 40 with no problem. Mommy has to remind me of 50, 60, 70, etc., but with a little help, I can get to 100! I know all my letters and the sounds they make and I'm trying really hard to read. I sounded out "water" the other day and "sun." I know all the sounds, it's saying them fast together that stumps me. I talk pretty good, but mommy says I need to work on my "L." I love to make up stories and play them out while I'm supposed to be going to sleep at night. And I love to tell mommy how much smarter me and daddy are than her. She could really learn a lot from us if she would just listen.
Mommy told me I should leave you with a little song... but unfortunately, she's not able to upload videos anymore. If you want to see it, Mommy said go to her Facebook page (Gigi, did you read that?) and she'll load it there.
I hope everyone has a fantastic week!
