Sunny Sunday

Only four more days of school!!!  Seriously, Mommy quit her job and Daddy is retired, so I only have four more days of school before mommy becomes my teacher.  I'm so happy that I'm starting to act a little crazy.  Mommy says we're leaving for our sailing trip really soon.  April 18.  We're going to a place called Isla Guadeloupe first.  It has two volcanos and great white sharks.  I love both!  In preparation, mommy let me repaint my volcano today on the bow of the boat.

Mommy says I'm growing like a weed.  I'm really smart too.  I know lots of things like John Glen was the first American to orbit the earth.  He went around three times.  Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first men to walk on the moon.  Michael Collins was driving the command module and doesn't get much credit, but if it wasn't for him, they would still be walking on the moon!  A very cool thing that happened this week was that we met the Navy Photographer that used to pick up the astronauts from the water.  He actually documented the pickup of Alan Shepherd!  His name is Dave and he lives two boats down from us.

I've used up most of my words tonight, but I do have some new pictures.  Enjoy!

Daddy is teaching me to drive the dinghy.

Daddy had a retirement party at the beach.  I convinced mommy and Miss Nicole to cover me up like a submarine.  That green stuff on the back is seaweed!

My Vacation to Oklahoma

I just got home from a week long vacation in Oklahoma visiting my Papa and Grandma Mac.  Daddy drove his truck out to leave with Papa and Mommy and I flew there a few days later.  I had so much fun!  I got to play with my cousins Jamie and Luke and all of my aunts and uncles.  I especially like my Uncle Colby.  He likes to play as much as I do.

We did lots of things...played in the snow, went to Granddad's house and played lots of games, drove in the snow to eat pizza and play pool, and baked a cake for Mommy's birthday.  Well, technically, aunt Sarah did that, but us kids got to help.

Here's a picture of my Uncle Colby and I making snowballs.

The picture above is when Luke, Jamie and I were playing spaceship.  This is our spaceship.  Luke and Jamie are driving while I'm catching up on some much needed rest before I take over.

Here are pictures of both mommy and daddy with my aunts Sarah and Shannon.  I have a very smart (and busy) family.  My aunt Sara is a teacher, basket ball coach, golf coach and a mommy.  And that's just what I know about.  My aunt Shannon is a doctor.  She works a whole lot and studies a lot too.  Mommy says that's what I'm going to have to do if I want to be an astronaut.

Mommy said this isn't the most flattering picture she's ever taken, but I liked it so I put it up here anyway.

It may be a while before we see everyone again.  I'm really glad I got the chance to see them all before we leave on our sailing trip.  Aunt Sarah says she's coming to visit us in Figi!  Hopefully it won't be too long...
